honeysales was founded in 2021 in Berlin by b2b sales and technology enthusiasts driven by the vision to reshape B2B sales through intelligent automation and human-focused technology.

We developed our vision and first version of the product in 2021, before the GenAI wave, transitioning into a SaaS company in 2023/24. A shift that helped evolve our product, our customers, and how we work as a team. Now in 2025, we’re entering our next chapter: Agentic AI – not just AI-powered features, but fully autonomous sales agents that think, act, and engage like a top-performing rep.

In April 2025, we launched a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services to complete our Sales Agent – with the goal of becoming part of Amazon’s AI ecosystem and marketplace. Our vision: after just 5 minutes of onboarding, you’ll receive your top 5 ready-to-buy clients – fully personalized, context-aware, and channel-agnostic. This fall, one of our co-founders will relocate to the U.S. to lead our go-to-market efforts – supported by the German Accelerator US Market Access program phase II, which we previously won.

Today, honeysales is a team of 20+ based in Berlin-Kreuzberg, combining deep B2B sales know-how with engineering, product, and AI expertise from Europe’s leading tech companies. We’re building the first Agentic AI for Sales from Europe – scalable, data-driven, and radically human.

Your daily tasks

Hands-on Operations Leadership to Scale a Category-Defining AI Company

As Director of Operations at honeysales, you’ll be responsible for running and scaling the operational backbone of the company – from Business Operations, Client Success to Finance, and HR. Own and optimize the systems, processes, and teams with a customer-first mindset. You’ll be part of the leadership team and work closely with the founders to drive company-wide decisions, steer strategy, and represent honeysales in investor meetings. You’ll own our financial planning and reporting, and ensure operational readiness as we scale into new markets.

With our U.S. go-to-market kicking off this fall, you’ll help lay the foundation: set up infrastructure, support local team operations, and make sure the transition is smooth and scalable.

To fuel our further growth, you’ll manage future capital measures (VC, banking) and directly support investor relations. 

You lead by doing – whether it’s implementing a new support ticket system, streamlining our hiring process, onboarding finance tools, or drafting a success playbook. You hire strong people, build efficient teams, and put systems in place that don’t break at 10x.

Everything you do is aimed at one thing: helping honeysales grow fast without losing focus. You combine structure and flexibility – and you don’t wait for permission to fix what’s broken.

Our requirements
  • Have 5+ years of operational leadership in a fast-growing SaaS environment
    You’ve led cross-functional teams and built scalable processes across Customer Success, Support, Finance, HR, or Business Operations, e.g. in roles as Chief of Staff, Head/Director/VP of Operations/BizOps/RevOps/CS. Experience in a high-growth, product-led or VC-backed tech company is a strong plus. 

  • Know how to keep the engine running – and scaling
     You’ve implemented systems, hired and coached teams, and optimized internal workflows. You understand the financial and operational levers behind a SaaS business and have had ownership of budgets, metrics, and investor-ready reporting.

  • Balance strategy with hands-on execution
     You love building frameworks, but you’re also the one rolling up your sleeves to solve issues before they slow the team down. Whether it’s onboarding tools, improving CSAT, managing cash flow, or streamlining onboarding – you know how to make things work.

  • Thrive in fast, founder-led environments
    You’re comfortable in ambiguity, move quickly with confidence, and help turn chaos into structure. You bring clarity, speed, and stability to teams during scaling phases.

  • Communicate clearly and lead through collaboration
     You’re a natural cross-functional partner. You can align stakeholders, work across product, sales, and marketing, and create processes that feel like support – not control.

The hiring process
