honeysales was founded in 2021 in Berlin by business and technology enthusiasts. We are a B2B SaaS solution helping companies substitute their SDR function through Meetings-as-a-Service – automating end-to-end customer acquisition for businesses worldwide, with a current focus on German-speaking areas (DACH). 

We envision a business world where the salesforce focuses on what’s most important – having meaningful interactions with customers. While salespeople help customers develop solutions to their pain points we focus on initiating sales conversations by while harnessing the power of data intelligence. We started last year (2023) on the right foot by closing a funding round of 2.5 million EUR. 

We “honeybees” are currently based in a beautiful office in Berlin's popular Kreuzberg district. Our team of 35+ dedicated and passionate people* combines deep experience in the B2B sales industry with technical and product knowledge gained at top technology scaleups in FinTech and data applications. Our experienced founder and business angel / investor team has gained experience in high-growth companies such as Rocket Internet, TruVenturo, COMATCH, Klarna, etc.).

Our team is now looking for a Strategy & Investor Relationship Intern to join our exciting early-stage start-up in its growth phase. The perfect start if you want to found your own startup in the future.
Your daily tasks
Our Founder team is looking for a Strategy & Investor Relation Intern. In this role, you will join an exciting early stage start-up in its growth phase. You will work closely with our Founder, Management and amazing “Honeybees'' team, and will be directly involved in raising our upcoming Series A.

Your scope of responsibilities is:
  • Playing a pivotal role in preparing for and securing our planned Series A funding this year.
  • You will help drive growth and development of our product and improve operational excellence.
  • You will take a strong ownership of specific commercial projects next to our Founder team and have a lasting effect on our running businesses. 
  • Strategy: Work on business-critical projects, evaluate their strategic importance, and expand the company into new industries and geographical markets.
  • Training your entrepreneurial and decision-making processes while working on strategic and organizational growth tasks.
Our requirements
You should have these experiences & qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or already completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an economics-related field, such as business administration or finance.
  • Internship or working experience in a management consulting firm and/or in a fast-paced startup. However, this is not a strict requirement. Your analytical prowess, ambition, and willingness to take risks might tip the scales in your favor.
  • You are a self-starter with hands-on mentality and high degree of ownership. We foster a self-directed work atmosphere where efficiency is key.
  • You have strong quantitative skills, structured thinking, always able to connect the dots, plus a passion for an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent German and English skills.
  • At least five months availability - start as soon as possible
